Hong Kong's 'Taiwan Month' to Feature Art Shows From Taiwan
2013-09-24 14:45 TFPMAAudiences in Hong Kong can get a taste of Taiwanese performing arts in November when the annual "Taiwan Month" kicks off in the former British colony, showcasing top and emerging artistic groups.
The "Taiwan Month," to begin Nov. 1, will feature 31 performances and talks by 10 groups, according to the Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre, Taiwan's cultural office in Hong Kong and organizer of the event.
Now in its eighth year, "Taiwan Month" has in the past showcased Taiwan's cuisine, music, theater, literature, films and tourist attractions, and is organized to promote deeper understanding of Taiwan among people in Hong Kong.
